I now have the story of Elford and it's possessors written by Mr Roland Ridgway in 1943 this gentleman lived at Cheslyn Hay and wrote another book on that area I'm very gratful to his son and grandson for the loan of this manuscript.

It gives a full and detailed account of all the lords of the manor and the church from the 12th century onwards anyone who wishes to see a copy I will be pleased to forward you a CD with it all on as it is far to large to put on this website.
