This is the area as it was before work started

THIS IS WHERE THE PLAYGROUND

WILL BE SITUATED

This photo shows the cups into which the standing stones will sit each stone will have a period theme through the ages.

Work is now under way

All that can be said about this photo is start them young it may be a long job

The two photographs below show a horse drawn cart the first photo shows it being used to transport the May Queen around the village in 1931.

The May Queen for that year was Miss Marion Willets who lived in the gardeners house at the time.

The second photo shows the same cart now on display at the playground site for all to see.
