The village cricket and sports field was at Elford Park which was at the end of Church Road past the Gardeners House it was changed by agreement to the field it is now in for the free use and recreation of the villagers.

The two houses above were part of the hall estate and were given to Birmingham Corporation the one on church rd has been empty for a number of years now what a waste.
